On October 24, 2023, Poveda celebrated the 2023 Season of Creation and Indigenous Peoples Month Integration Project in our Senior High School Program at the Little Theater. Prof. Felipe de Leon, Jr., from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), introduced indigenous musical traditions, emphasizing our shared humanity. Fr. Gabby Oybad of Mangyan Mission Calapan Oriental Mindoro shed light on the Hanunuo Mangyan community’s experiences in line with this year’s Season of Creation message.
