On May 3, 2024, the Senior High School students had their most anticipated juncture— the Candlelight Ceremony.
For the Grade 11 students, it was a special and memorable moment to send off their “big sisters” as they turn the page to the new chapter of their lives. For the Grade 12 students, it was the right hour to pass on their responsibilities to their “little sisters.” .
Candlelight signifies the passing of the flame from the current Grade 12 students to the incoming Seniors as they are to assume the role of being the new “ates” of Poveda. To pass the light is to entrust them with the duties they need to perform.
