The GS Science Area concluded its STEM enrichment program on January 22, 2024, incorporating an exciting challenge this year—BIOMIMICRY. Biomimicry involves learning from nature to create healthier, sustainable technologies.
Students from Grades 3 and 4 designed waterproof pet houses inspired by waxy leaf surfaces, while Grades 5 and 6 created various infrastructures inspired by organisms. The collaborative projects were presented within cluster groups, aligning with the Science Area’s goal of fostering practical application of scientific knowledge to solve everyday problems.
