Keeping the Music of Our Heritage Alive!

On March 1, 2025, #Poveda had the privilege of hosting a training session on “Appreciating Philippine Traditional Instruments,” in collaboration with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. This enriching session was led by Dr. Felicidad A. Prudente, a Professor of Musicology at the University of Sto. Tomas.

#Povedan Teachers explored the history, craftsmanship, and cultural significance of traditional Filipino instruments, gaining a deeper connection to our nation’s heritage. Through sessions like these, we continue to celebrate, preserve, and pass on the beauty of Filipino music to future generations.
