Today, the #Povedan community gathered in faith for our Ash Wednesday Holy Mass, marking the beginning of the Lent—a sacred time of repentance, reflection, and spiritual renewal.
The Grade School Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Edric Bedural, while the High School Mass was led by our School Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Ricky C. Montañez, AA. In addition, Prayer Services were held in the chapel for our Preschool to Grade 1 students, allowing our youngest Povedans to partake in this meaningful observance.
Through the imposition of ashes, we are reminded of our call to turn away from sin, embrace God’s mercy, and strengthen our faith. May this Lenten journey inspire us to grow in prayer, sacrifice, and acts of love, drawing us ever closer to Christ.
