The Teresian Association

The Teresian Association is an international association of lay men and women committed to make Christ present in today's world. Its mission is to transform society through the promotion of Gospel values, particularly in the field of education and culture.

Founded in 1911 by St. Pedro Poveda, 2011 marked the 100 years of fruitful existence of the Teresian Association, as it offers new ways of evangelization.

Present in 30 countries in the four continents of Europe, America, Asia and Africa, the members of the Teresian Association fulfill their mission through the practice of their profession. They strive to live their vocation in the world like the early christians.

Their involvement in educational, socio-cultural and humanitarian endeavors find a place in St. Pedro Poveda's vision. Founded in the Philippines in 1950, the Teresian Association was immediately felt in the different colleges and universities of the country. Today, the Association is present in Bacolod, Bukidnon, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Manila, Tagaytay and Zamboanga.
